Congrats to our U-11 Hornets for placing 2nd place in the All Star Travel Ball Winter Championships. Our young men won their first two games beating The Hitmen 11 to 7 and The Reno Hurricanes 12 to 1. Sunday found the Hornets being the #1 seed and having to play the Hitmen again. Led by Jake Cervantes two hit master piece on the mound. The Hornets won the game 7 to 1 and were well on their way to some hardware. However, the Hornets ran into a changed team in the Reno Hurricanes and struggled a bit on the mound. The game was a back and forth tug of war and in the end the Hornets came up short, losing to Reno 5 to 3. ” I am very proud of our young men and what a great weekend. Way to finish out the year.”- Head Coach Dan Breen
