Not what any of us wanted. Up 8-2 in the top of 6th inning in a championship game you can only count the next six outs. Well we gave up 7 runs before even getting 1. These boys battled thru adversity all the way to end. Going 4-1-1 during a six day stretch where the majority of our guys have been down here for almost 13 total days. ucsd_baseball Team Camp
I am personally so proud of this group for compling a 29-6-1 summer record. They played up all summer long whether it was a 17U or at 16U did not matter. Winning two big tournaments in the early June and July and finishing in second at the xtreme diamond sports World Series.
Keep your heads held high young men. I am so proud to be your coach. And to my staff thank you Rick Heron and Rafa Rivera for always being such stand up guys for our young men.
The grind does not stop it just makes “us” #wantmore.
